ART DAY 2012

ART DAY was held on Aug 4. We had 10 students with ages rangeing from 19 to 6 and we all had a creativly good time. The food kept coming too. No low calorie stuff for Art Day!  Acrylic painting on canvas board. Bleach writing on black T-shirts and the best projects of the day, I thought, the Caulk Outline Murals. Here is a sample.

Doodle Bird

If you like to doodle, don't sell yourself short. Some amazing drawing come out of doodles. Even your signature is a doodle in a way. The way you express yourself.
    Today I was collecting signatures at work for some ID cards and observed how these young guys not only wrote their names but how they expressed themselves as they were writing.  Some wrote fast, some slow and methodical, some with a curl at the end, some with a long straight slash. I wondered what they would do with a brush and some paint.  I hope in this day and age of computer generated everything, we never get tired of the doodle.
